Did the Young Cast of “Shazam! Fury of the Gods” Go To College?

Shazam! Fury of the Gods is the latest superhero flick taking theatres by storm, and its young cast is pretty amazing. If you’re wondering what their educational background looks like, we’re here to tell you if they went to college before taking Hollywood by storm.

Rachel Zegler

Zegler recently had a witty reply to a viral tweet that read, “The last Hannah Montana episode was stupid cause what do you mean you turned down a Stephen Spielberg film for college” – “couldn’t be me.”

Turns out that the young actress was planning to attend attending Montclair State University in New Jersey, but changed her plans after being cast in Spielberg’s adaptation of West Side Story. Montclair later tweeted they would still love to see her on campus, but her schedule is pretty busy at the moment.

Jack Dylan Grazer

Grazer is an alum of the Adderley School for Performing Arts in Pacific Palisades, and his ties with this school are still strong. He later established Jack Dylan Grazer Scholarship and he sponsors a scholarship for two Adderley School students every year.

“I want children who don’t have the money or the opportunities and who want to perform and let out their inner shining star to have that accessibility to their dreams,” the actor told The Glass Magazine.

Ross Butler

Butler didn’t finish college, but he gave it a good shot. He grew up in a family that prioritized education and studied chemical and biomolecular engineering at Ohio State University. He dropped up due to a lack of passion for this field and tried studying computer science at community college. He still felt unfulfilled and eventually decided to move to Los Angeles, where he pursued a career in the entertainment industry.
