Former first daughter Malia Obama has been spotted partying in multiple places in Massachusetts, since beginning her freshman year at Harvard University. Many social media goers posted on Twitter of their Malia sightings. One user wrote, “Damn, I saw Malia Obama in Cambridge, MA tonight. She was beautiful, but cursing like any other college student.” Another user wrote, “Definitely just saw Malia Obama at a rest stop on the Pike wasted with her Harvard homies. She’s mad tall and def wasted.” She has been photographed twerking at rock concerts and rolling around on the ground rocking out at Lollapalooza. While these all may seem to be typical college goer activities, of course Malia is going to make the news because of her obvious ties to her father and mother, Barack and Michelle Obama.
In November, Malia was spotted lip locking with a mystery boy at the Harvard-Yale football game in Connecticut, who seemed to be team Harvard and Malia. Soon after, she was spotted lighting up a cigarette with the boy, who has been identified as student Rory Farquharson and some other school friends. Rory is from Britain and is the former head boy of the U.K.’s prestigious Ruby School, an independent boarding school. Their relationship is currently unclear, as his family explained to the press that he was just visiting the states when he was with Malia. Any sort of relationship would be quite difficult, seeing that it would be long distance.
Many people are criticizing the press and others for not respecting Malia’s privacy. Other first daughters have come to her rescue in tweets such as “Malia Obama’s private life, as a young woman, a college student, a private citizen, should not be your clickbait,” tweeted by Chelsea Clinton in November. “Be better,” she says. Later that day Ivanka Trump tweeted, “Malia Obama should be allowed the same privacy as her school aged peers. She is a young adult and private citizen, and should be OFF limits.” Retweet Girls!!
