Sometimes getting yourself to make the long trek to class is extremely and overly difficult. Sometimes the most difficult part about the going to class process is convincing yourself to physically get out of bed in order to make it to class on time. Going to class is a struggle for many students. However, there are some circumstances where going to class is made extremely difficult and unpleasant by other factors.
One of the biggest factors that contribute to a student’s desire to skip class is the weather. Especially when you do not live super close to campus, going to class when it is raining profusely outside is super difficult. On days where you see a half-empty lecture hall or classroom, it can be safe to assume that rain has plagued the campus.
For some reason, it is just so much more of a hassle to try to get to class when it’s raining. Even catching a bus is tedious and cold inducing. Really, being out in the rain for too long can result in a weakening immune system and an increased chance of catching a cold. Therefore, maybe skipping your class on a rainy day in order to prevent these medical issues may not be so bad after all.
