]]>The sister of the famous actor Timothée Chalamet had quite a unique college experience. She initially rejected the idea of going to college, but later changed her mind and majored in theater and political science at Bard College. She worked at the school library to pay off her student loans and worked a number of odd jobs before moving to Paris.
Amrit Kaur, who plays aspiring comedian Bela, had a somewhat similar path in real life and served as the senior captain of the improv team at her high school. After graduating, she went on to study at York University in Toronto, where she got a BFA in theatre.
Reneé Rapp is very much unlike her character Leighton, a rich legacy student at Essex College. She graduated from the Northwest School of the Arts, but going to traditional college wasn’t in the cards for her after she won Jimmy Awards and took over the role of Regina George in the Broadway musical Mean Girls.
Scott’s character Whitney is a star soccer player, and she’s trying to figure out what her interests are apart from sports, but that’s not the case with the actress playing her. Scott got a BFA from the University of Michigan’s musical theatre program and quickly became an actress.
