3 Makeup Products That You Should Never Share

You know that feeling when you’re getting ready for a college party with your besties, and you’re all doing your makeup together? We’ve all been there, but it’s best to come prepared with your own makeup bag because certain makeup products should never be shared.

Mascara

Sharing makeup products that come in close contact with eyes with other people is best avoided. Mascaras are the best example and you should stick to using your own because they can harbor bacteria and viruses that can lead to eye infections when shared.

Makeup Brushes and Sponges

It’s a good idea to invest in your own set of makeup brushes and sponges and never share them with anyone else. These makeup tools can accumulate a lot of oils, impurities, and bacteria from the skin over time, and it’s highly recommended to clean them up on a regular basis even if you’re the only one using them – as you should be!

Lip Products

Sharing lipsticks, lip glosses, and lip balms with other people also isn’t such a great idea. By passing these products from one person to another, you’ll also cause all the germs accumulated on their surface to do the same, so it’s best to stick to using your own.
