One of the many advantages to being a college student is that your day is slightly less structured and then your high school routine. Freedom is a term often associated with college days so take advantage of free time – especially in the morning. We’ve heard through the grapevine that early risers are those that end up having more productive days. Here are some smart ways to spend your mornings in college.
Get the endorphins pumping by waking up early to engage in some exercise. Go for run. Do a yoga class. Just get your blood pumping. Everyone knows it’s a great way to get the day started.

College is about expanding your horizons and learning new things. So do it, find a class you have a passion for and get up and go.
If you know you have the morning off it’s also ok to catch up on all those hours of sleep you’ve been missing.
Use the Quiet
Early mornings aren’t generally the loudest, most active time on campus, so if you are awake use the quiet time to focus on work or study. You know – without the distractions.
Morning productivity can also be about getting in some extra work hours. If you are the early bird – ask to get some shifts in the morning – then you are literally getting them out the way.
Regardless of how you choose to spend your college morning’s, use it wisely.
