On may 7th, 2017, Nicki Minanj decided to do one of the greatest deeds we’ve ever heard of. She agreed to pay for her fans’ college tuition fees and specified that her doing this would not be a one-time thing.
She tweeted saying “U want to go to college but can’t? How much do u need to get u in school? Is that the only thing stopping u?” She then asked fans for proof of their needs and said that she would wire anyone money who needed it for college tuition.
She then tweeted “I’ll pay a cpl of them. Send ur bank info & ur contact.” She obviously knew that if she paid for too many people’s tuition she’d go broke so later that night she tweeted saying “Ok u guys. It’s been fun. Let me make those payments tmrw then see if I have any money left. I’ll do some more in a month or 2.”
Minaj’s amazing generosity shows how important the star values education and believes that everyone should be granted the education they deserve.
