Senioritis? What You Should Really Expect Going Into Your Senior Year of College

Kids go into college with many expectations. For some, the expectations may be more education oriented while for others, they may be more focused on achieving some personal social goals. And while college is a time for growth and experimentation, there are some things that you should know to expect, specifically when going into senior year.

For one, you can expect a decent amount of stress. And surprisingly, no, this stress is not school related.

This stress is brought on by the fact that you are either applying to grad school or applying to get a job in your career field of study and you are freaking about all of the applications, deadlines, and thoughts of having to try to be an adult.

Now, there is school stress too, however, that midterm doesn’t really hold as much weight over your future as does that dream job that you have to prepare to interview for.

You can also expect to want to be a freshman again. As a senior in college, you will experience the urge to go out at every waking moment, drink until your stress has gone away, and live every single moment up with your best friends because you know that more than likely, you will all be moving to different cities, states, and possibly even countries.

For seniors in college, it will seem as if the past four years have completely just flown by and you will feel the need to make as many more memories, mistakes, and fun moments as you possibly can.
