College is an extremely exciting time. One of the most thrilling rights of passage is when you get to move into your first real apartment. And, yes, while your parents may still technically be the ones paying for it, it is ultimately yours and your roommate’s to decorate. You can decorate your apartment in a variety of ways. It is common to post things on the walls such as tapestries or posters. It is also popular to cover your couches in a variety of cool pillows and put christmas lights somewhere in there. For one, if you are someone who considers yourself to be artsy or trendy, maybe invest in some cool magnets to put on the fridge. You can also cover the fridge with pictures of you and your roommates. Whether the pictures are cute or funny, photos always add a cute personal touch. And, speaking of photos, it could be funny to decorate your fridge with baby photos of you and your roommates. However, that is only if you want every single guest that enters your apartment to spend five minutes trying to guess which baby picture is yours. Lastly, if you and your roommates are the organized type, you can put a chore chart and/ or a calendar on your refrigerator as well.
