Nosferatu is one of the buzziest new films to hit theaters this winter, and its star-studded cast is one of the best things about it. If you’re wondering where they went to school before finding fame in Hollywood, we’re here with all the details about their academic journey.
Bill Skarsgård
Bill Skarsgård was only nine when he started booking his first acting roles. He took science as a major in high school and considered becoming a doctor like his mother, but eventually decided to stick to acting.
Lily-Rose Depp
Just like Skarsgård, Lily-Rose Depp comes from a family of actors. She was 16 when she decided to drop out of her college-prep high school in Hollywood and focus on acting full-time.
“I think that the American school system puts a lot of pressure on kids, so if you don’t go to college, then you won’t be successful… Everybody has their own path. And, for some people, it’s college. What’s been important to me, always, but especially since I’ve left school, is to never stop learning,” she told The Face.
Nicholas Hoult
Nicholas Hoult got his big break with the role in About a Boy while he was still a teen. He initially considered attaining advanced-level certificates in English, Biology, and Psychology but eventually decided to pursue his passion for acting at Sylvia Young Theatre School.
Aaron Taylor-Johnson
Aaron Taylor-Johnson attended the Holmer Green Senior School and the Jackie Palmer Stage School in High Wycombe but dropped out at 15 to pursue acting full-time.
Emma Corrin
Emma Corrin fell in love with acting and singing during her time at the all-girl boarding school Roman Catholic Woldingham School in Surrey. She briefly studied drama at the University of Bristol, before heading to St John’s College, Cambridge to study Education, English, and Drama.
