Where Did the “Red, White & Royal Blue” Stars Go to School?

After a lot of anticipation, the adaptation of the hit young adult novel Red, White & Royal Blue finally premiered on Amazon this month—and it was worth the wait. The film’s young cast immediately received a horde of fans online, but do you know where they went to school before starring in this hit rom-com?

Taylor Zakhar Perez

Perez, who plays the son of the U.S. president in this film, had quite an interesting academic journey. Despite earning a swimming scholarship from Fordham University after high school, he decided to pursue a major in Spanish, Culture, and Community at UCLA, but his minor in TV and Films eventually prevailed.

Nicholas Galitzine

Nicholas Galitzine, who played the British Prince Henry, was planning to pursue an athletic career before injuring his rotator cuff in high school. He studied at Dulwich College and decided to turn to acting after his time with a youth theatre company, Pleasance Islington.

Rachel Hilson

Hilson studied theater, film, and literature during her time at NYU Gallatin: School of Individualized Study, where she created her own curriculum called “Writing and Performing Race”.

Ellie Bamber

Bamber was awarded a drama scholarship and attended Wellington College for Sixth Form before turning to acting and finding success both on stage and screen.
