College Student Was Kicked Out Of Mall For “Inappropriate Outfit”

Hannah Pewee was having an ordinary day this summer and decided to go to the Woodland Mall in Michigan with her sister. Hannah, on this 90 degree day, was dressed in a Finding Nemo tank top, shorts, and flat shoes. Nothing out of the ordinary on a hot summer day, or so you would think.

Hannah was approached by a security guard telling her that her outfit was inappropriate and she needed to leave. This was shocking to Hanna, considering there was nothing not appropriate about what she was wearing.

Later that day, Hannah took to Instagram, posting a picture of what she was wearing, followed by this caption:

“As many of you know, it is NINETY degrees outside today in West Michigan. Aka, really hot. So, of course, I decided to dress for the weather: shorts and a tank top. But apparently, how I was dressed (see photo below) was too slutty for the public, as I was kicked out of the Woodland Mall today. Yup. Apparently some anonymous person reported me to MALL SECURITY for inappropriate dress and I was kicked out.”

Of course her post got a ton of attention and the mall was contacted multiple times. They claimed that they would make their dress code more clear in order to avoid confusion. Additionally, the management team at this mall apologized and said changes would be made.
