Natalie Portman – Harvard University

Natalie Portman is not only an Oscar-winning actress known for her roles in Black Swan and the Star Wars prequel trilogy but also a Harvard alumna. Portman graduated in 2003 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. She has often spoken about the importance of education and how she balanced her academic pursuits with her acting career, even bringing her textbooks to film sets.

Emma Watson – Brown University

Best known for her role as Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter series, Emma Watson is a real-life intellectual. Watson attended Brown University, an Ivy League institution in Providence, Rhode Island, where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in English literature in 2014. 

John Legend – University of Pennsylvania

Before John Legend was winning Grammys and charming audiences with his silky-smooth vocals, he was hitting the books at the University of Pennsylvania. Legend, whose real name is John Stephens, graduated in 1999 with a bachelor’s degree in English with an emphasis on African-American literature.
