College roommate situations often go one of two ways- either your roommate becomes your BFF and you can’t get enough of each other, or the complete opposite. In the case of Winnie Chen and Guistinna Tun, they experienced the later.
Chen and Tun’s third roommate, Ashly, sent them an email stating that she wants the top bunk of the bed that has a bottom and top bunk, the desk near the window, and one of the white closets. She then says “What I stated above is what I’m expecting once I arrive at the dorm, and I won’t be in the mood for any arguing or other nonsense because one of you two decided to deliberately disregard this email. If needed be I’ll turn it into a bigger situation so don’t try me.” Winnie obviously tweeted this captioning it “My roommate that I haven’t even met…”
Guistinna says that she was busy and was not deliberately disregarding the email. She then says that she will not tolerate being spoken to like that. In response to that, Ashly says that she’s actually really chill but can be a ticking time bomb when things she doesn’t like happen to her… so in other words she’s not really chill. She then explains that she would understand if one of the two request another roommate, but if not she would appreciate if one of them would “take the top bunk with the desk underneath (lol).” Boy, does this girl know how to make a first impression.
