Okay so we know that everyone hates jury duty, but no one hates it as much as this man from Tyler, Texas. This man showed up trashed to the courthouse, smelling obviously like alcohol, and even filled a coca cola cup with beer. This man is a new level of hilarious.
The Tyler, Texas morning telegraph says:
“When the man attempted to come back inside the courthouse, deputies stopped him. Once he was stopped, he turned the Coca-Cola cup over to the deputies. After identifying the man, the deputies asked him what was in the cup, according to the affidavit. The deputy reported a strong smell of alcohol coming from the cup and found what appeared to be beer. The man confirmed that, the affidavit states. The man was arrested and charged for public intoxication and booked into the Smith County Jail where he was held on a $260 bond, according to Smith County judicial records.”
We know how people feel about jury duty but you must really freaking hate it if you’re willing to show up drunk and end up getting arrested. What’s ironic is that now he’ll need a jury for his very own court case. Ha ha. What we can conclude, though, is that this man is extremely ballsy.
