This College Just Got a Whole lot Better

The University of Central Florida, which is a division 1 school, cares a lot about ensuring their athletes are comfortable, happy, and healthy. This is why the campus recently decided to add a “resort-style lazy river” to the student athlete village. The river will serve as a “Recovery Cove” which will focus on the health of the student athletes.

UCF’s goal is to have the “finest athletics village in the nation,” says UCF Athletic Director Danny White. $5 million is going towards enhancing the student athlete village, $2 million will go into football expansion, $2 million will go into baseball expansion, and $1 million will go into a student athlete nutrition center. All donations will be privately funded and there is no expected start or finish date yet. All we know is that we wish we applied here sooner!
