  • 2 pounds chicken wings
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon neutral oil
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 2 green onions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F and spread oil onto the air fryer basket or rack.
  2. Throw the chicken wings into a large bowl and mix with neutral oil, salt, garlic powder, and black pepper.
  3. Once the ingredients are blended well, put the chicken wings in the air fryer basket and cook them for 8 minutes. Then, flip them over and cook for another 10 to 12 minutes.
  4. As the wings are cooking, add the honey, soy sauce, vinegar, and garlic to a large saucepan.
  5. Pour the cornstarch and cold water into a small bowl and whisk.
  6. Combine the cornstarch and saucepan mix and cook for 2 minutes over medium heat.
  7. Submerge the chicken wings into the saucepan and immerse them in the sauce until well coated.
  8. Return the chicken to the air fryer and cook for another 3 to 5 minutes.
  9. Drizzle the remaining sauce onto the chicken and add green onions to serve.
