Sabrina Carpenter is climbing up the charts with her viral hit “Espresso”, and her star is rising faster than ever. The former Disney star had quite an interesting academic journey before becoming a pop sensation, and we’re here with all the details about her time in school.
Carpenter discovered her love for performing at a young age, and she was still a teen when she got her big break with Girl Meets World. Like many former Disney stars, she turned to homeschooling to keep up with her busy schedule, but this decision worked wonders for her in the long run.
“This sounds so dramatic, but I felt safer learning the way that I did. I was in an online school, and then I started working at a pretty young age, so I got out of those little toxic circles that you sometimes don’t even realize you’re in because you’re so young,” she previously told Interview Magazine.
She attended PA Cyber School and Oak Park High School, which counts former Disney stars Peyton List, Zendaya, and Olivia Rodrigo among its students. She never got to attend college after graduation and started acting and singing full-time, but admitted she considered studying arts at UCLA in an interview with Burlington County Times.
