John Green’s coming-of-age books have produced several hit movie adaptations, and Turtles All the Way Down is the next one in line. This teen drama about a teen struggling with obsessive-compulsive disorder recently premiered on Max, and here’s where its young cast went to school.
Isabela Merced
Isabela Merced is one of the biggest rising stars of her generation, and she had quite an interesting academic journey. Despite struggling with English in grad school, she quickly became an excellent student and skipped a few grades. She graduated at 15 and was accepted into college despite pursuing her Hollywood dreams while finishing school.
Cree Cicchino
Just like Merced, Cicchino has been acting from a young age, and we’ve even seen her play a bright high school student in Netflix’s series Mr. Iglesias. She went to an independent school and enjoyed doing schoolwork because it used to be the most peaceful bit of normality while she navigated the hectic entertainment industry as a teen.
Felix Mallard
Ginny & Georgia star Felix Mallard is originally from Australia, so he only got to have an American high school experience through his roles. He attended the all-boys school Christian Brothers College in Melbourne, and he was a college prefect, a national junior fencing champion, and completed a course in technical production course during his time in school.
