Quick Exercises You Can Perform Between Study Sessions

If you’re cramming for a major exam or perhaps simply revising notes in order to keep up with your courses, it can become challenging to find the time to exercise and maintain a healthy lifestyle. Fortunately, with a little creativity, this won’t be a problem. Here are some quick exercises you can easily perform between long study sessions.

Planks

While this exercise requires you to remain still, what makes planks so effective is that they require you to maintain a firm pose, thereby working almost your entire body. This workout helps to condition your core, chest, shoulders, and glutes.

Bodyweight Squats

Although viewed as a lower body workout, squats actually require you to maintain a tight core and hips while also stabilizing your arms as you keep them stretched out. Of course, your glutes and quads will also get fired up by this challenging workout.

Superwoman Pose

If you’re studying at home, then this exercise is perfect for you. All you need to do is lie on your stomach, extend your arms and legs and then lift your arms and legs off the floor, holding the position for three seconds before lowering back down. This exercise is effective and simple to perform, with no gym equipment necessary.
