Is “Wednesday” Actress Jenna Ortega Going to College?

Wednesday is the latest teen series taking Netflix by storm, and it’s led by the young actress Jenna Ortega. She plays the titular heroine Wednesday Addams during her time at the Nevermore Academy, but what does her own academic background look like, and did she have a chance to go to college?

If you think you’ve seen Ortega somewhere else before watching Wednesday, that’s not a coincidence. Despite being just 20, her filmography is pretty impressive, and it includes key roles on TV shows Jane the Virgin, Stuck in the Middle, and You, and movies The Fallout, Yes Day, Scream, and X.

Ortega has been acting since she was just 10 years old, and that made it impossible for her to have a normal high school experience.

“I feel for the kids who are missing their prom or missing the opportunity to graduate or can’t have that high school experience they typically would… Because I think that’s such an important part of life that I missed out on and wish I had had,” she told Cosmopolitan.

Ortega graduated in 2020, while on a movie set, and her mother revealed that she managed to maintain a 4.0 GPA. With such impressive grades, it wouldn’t be a shocker if she decided to attend college at some point, but she’s currently too busy with her career in Hollywood.
